Pitch Deck: Crowdsourcing Platform Startup

A pitch deck by the book

Peoplegogo is an early stage startup, based in London that is currently looking for seed funding using this slide show. The document is a complete overhaul of the original pitch deck that the team came up with on their own. Most sections had to be built from the ground up, as we were re-envisioning the business model and the product roadmap together. The presentation has a classic pitch deck structure and covers all important angles for an early stage startup.

Explaining how it works

The original explanation of the general concept behind the crowdsourcing process was crammed into a single slide diagram that included a total of 59 visual components on screen. This explanation has been reworked and broken down into 5 major steps, spanning through 12 slides. The most significant improvement here is the linearity of the new narrative. Presenting a process as a sequence of consecutive steps enables the viewer to easily keep track of the story. The visual “breadcrumbs” in the top right corner that are directly related to the “photo strip” timeline on screen are an additional enhancement in this direction.
